1. Agreeing to these terms

Welcome to Reading Room, an IELTS reading practice and coaching platform operated by Abrar Sabab. These terms explain the rules for using the platform.

When you register an account or access our course materials, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not sign up or use the platform.

2. Who can use Reading Room

You must be at least 13 years old to use Reading Room. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account.

3. Your account & single-user policy

• Single-User License: Each account is granted strictly for one individual student's personal IELTS preparation.
• No Account Sharing: You may not share your login credentials, resell access, distribute account sessions, or allow other individuals to use your account.
• Security Violations: Concurrent usage or credential redistribution will result in immediate account suspension or termination without refund eligibility.

4. Free and paid content

Reading Room content is structured systematically into modules and chapters:

• Chapter 1 is free, permanently, for all registered students. You can read lessons, explore passage walkthroughs, and practice freely before deciding to make any purchase. This allows full inspection of content quality before paying.
• Chapters 2 and 3 are premium access. They require a one-time purchase. You pay once and retain access to that content.
• Not a Subscription: There are no recurring monthly charges, hidden renewals, or cancellation hassles.

5. Purchases and billing

• All prices are clearly stated in Bangladeshi Taka (BDT) at checkout prior to payment confirmation.
• Payments are securely processed via UddoktaPay supporting Bangladeshi MFS providers: bKash, Nagad, Rocket, and Upay.
• Once payment is confirmed by the gateway, premium chapters are unlocked automatically for your account.
• We do not store payment card or wallet PIN details on our servers.

6. Refund policy

Please read this refund policy carefully before making any purchase:

The Only Exceptions (Full Refund Guaranteed):

1. Charged but access failed to activate: If your payment was deducted but the platform failed to unlock your purchased chapters, we will promptly refund you or immediately rectify your access (your choice).
2. Duplicate or accidental double charge: If an unintended duplicate charge occurred during checkout, the extra payment will be refunded in full.

Refund Processing Details:

• Refund requests take 7–14 business days to process and are credited back to your original payment method via UddoktaPay.
• To request a refund under one of the eligible exceptions above, email cred.rroom@gmail.com with your registered email and payment transaction details.

7. Content is protected — copyright & intellectual property

All materials available on Reading Room — including passage analyses, reading blueprints, algorithmic strategies, quiz questions, interactive widgets, videos, and vocabulary lists — are the exclusive intellectual property of Abrar Sabab and are protected under international and Bangladeshi copyright law.

You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license strictly for your individual IELTS preparation. You may NOT:

• Copy, scrape, download in bulk, screen-record, or redistribute any lessons or passage explanations.
• Sell, resell, rent, or share course materials on telegram groups, Facebook groups, Google Drives, or third-party websites.
• Use automated bots or scraping tools to harvest content from the platform.

8. Acceptable use

When using Reading Room, you agree not to:

• Attempt to bypass paywalls, authentication middleware, or security gates.
• Probe, scan, or exploit system vulnerabilities or reverse-engineer API endpoints.
• Overload, spam, or disrupt server infrastructure.
• Interfere with other learners' ability to use the platform.

9. Not affiliated with British Council or IDP

Reading Room is an independent educational platform authored by Abrar Sabab.

We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the British Council, IDP: IELTS Australia, Cambridge Assessment English, or any official IELTS administration body.

"IELTS" is a registered trademark of University of Cambridge ESOL, the British Council, and IDP Education Australia. Our materials are intended solely for academic practice, and we do not guarantee specific test scores or band results.

10. Termination

You may stop using Reading Room at any time. You can request permanent account deletion under the provisions of our Privacy Policy.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms of Service (e.g. account sharing, piracy, or abuse). Terminations resulting from terms violations are strictly non-refundable.

11. Content availability

We strive to ensure uninterrupted access to the platform. However, occasional scheduled maintenance, server upgrades, or unforeseen disruptions may occur. We continually update, refine, and improve lessons to provide the highest preparation value.

12. Governing law

These terms and any disputes arising from them are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the People's Republic of Bangladesh. Any legal proceedings will take place under the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Bangladesh.
